Check out 5 Hip Hop albums to look out for 2020 with three big names hinting at brand new projects next year as well as some of the most talented up and commers in the game.

Kaytranada

2019 has been an absolute winner for Kaytranada with the Electronic, Soul, Hip-hop and Funk producer taking everyone by storm with his talents.

The Montreal music producer has been quiet in the last few months while touring the world. Considering the impact that his name had this year, 2020 will definitely come with a brand new Kaytranada album.

Vince Staples

Earlier in 2019, the Long Beach rapper signed to Motown Records and promised that his his fourth studio album is on the way. Ever since his 2018 FM! project, the rapper has launched a web series titled The Vince Staples Show, featuring new music and sketch comedy visuals. The first episode dropped in August and debuted the new single “So What?” while the second episode arrived earlier this month and contained the single “Sheet Music” feat. Ray J.

No doubt that the rapper has yet to reach his maximum potential so keep an eye out for him in 2020.

Drake

Drake fans, there’s good news for you as the Canadian superstar is preparing to release a brand new album next year. The rapper took on Instagram stating that he’s ready to drop new music so we can expect some heat from him in the next few months.

No news on the project name just yet but we promise to keep you updated once anything official hits the web.

J. Cole: The Fall Off

According to a 2018 Angie Martinez interview, J. Cole has been working on The Fall Off since 2016 and it seems that 2020 might be the year when fans will get to enjoy the project as an official release.

In the mean time the rapper has developed projects for his rap alter-ego kiLL edward, as well as the recent Dreamville compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III. No doubt, The Fall Off is something no true Hip Hop fan can miss so be sure to be on the look-out for the project.

Childish Gambino

After his acting career took off, Childish Gambino decided to take a short break from music just to come back with nothing but solid bangers. However, during “This Is America” Tour the rapper broke the news for us: a new Gambino LP is on the way but this will be the last project from the artist.

Most definitely, everyone is sad to hear the news that this will be the last Gambino album but also curious to experience the project. Even if the artist is committed to retiring the Childish Gambino moniker, we are hoping that another Donald Glover rap ego will emerge once this era has come to an end.
