After dominating the Rap game for 20 plus years with his sharp lyrics, Ghostface Killah teamed up with Asics and New York retailer Extra Butter for a new signature shoe release.

While being premiered earlier this year at the first edition of ComplexCon, now fans get to enjoy a detailed look at the Wu Tang Clan member’s release via Instagram.

The kicks were inspired by Ghostface’s leather jackets while being dubbed after his Pretty Toney moniker transferring the Asics Tiger Gel Lyte MT silhouette – one of the most popular shoes that the brand has to offer. The Ghostface Killah x Extra Butter x Asics collaboration proudly displays a vibrant burgundy colorway with glimpse of tan sprinkled throughout the side panels of each shoe. As we all know, burgundy is slowly starting to make waves in the fashion world so this release follows the trend closely.

To celebrate the rapper’s career and longevity, Asics and Extra Butter branded the kicks with his initials on both tongues. For the overall look to be completed, the shoes also feature a white midsole and a gum bottom. The final result is something that most sneaker fans will enjoy, especially the ones that have a thing for running shoes. Wu Tang fans will most likely follow with the Ghostface Killah x Extra Butter x Asics collaboration retailing at ComplexCon on November 4-5th before and in-store release at Extra Butter takes place on November 7th.

If you’re looking to have the complete look, Extra Butter plans on matching the shoes with a snapback (in collaboration with New Era), a graphic tee and a beanie. The hat will feature Ghostface Killah’s iconic eagle bracelet while the beanie will be made out of cable knit material. All items will be available with the shoes at ComplexCon, and then in store at Extra Butter in New York City.  Any thoughts on the kicks? Feel free to share them in the comment section.
