The “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star filed divorce documents earlier this month in Los Angeles County Superior Court while placing the matter into her legal team’s hands.

According to a few sources close to the couple, the divorce is not a total surprise, due to the fact that Ray J and Princess Love were already living separately after tons of relationship drama came up along the way. The couple decided to say “yes” back in 2016 but their marriage was soon to hit rock bottom after numerous fights. One which Ray J actually pushed Princess Love into a pool with the incident being caught on camera, of course.
As numerous tabloids reported, Ray and Princess were actually living separately since February, and they had not reconciled after she claimed that he “stranded” her and their daughter, Melody, in Sin City back in November 2019 following a heated argument. The entire situation was already complicated since at the time, Ray J’s spouse was only weeks away from giving birth to their second child.
The couples second child, Epik, was born in January but the event was not enough to save the union. Ray tried to save the marriage on Valentine’s Day by going all out and filling their Bev Hills condo with thousands of roses for his wife and daughter, but apparently this was not enough to impress Princess Love who did not change her mind.
While taking the matter into her hands, Princess also stopped wearing her wedding ring after the couple had one last massive fight in Las Vegas and Ray J briefly stopped wearing his soon after.
