It seems like former IG (before 6ix9ine got release from jail) king Tory Lanez had a bit of a drama this past week as well. According to online news, the Canadian artist had a huge fight with Celina Powell, a fight which ended with the police being called to break it put.
The singer/rapper is accusing the go-to rapper’s choice of harassing him while mentioning that he lost his temper because he couldn’t take it any longer. On the contrary to popular beliefs, Celina called the cops on Lanez for the situation and not the other way around. And according to the IG model, Tory also put hands on her with Powell posting an IG video where she’s seen checking out of the hospital while clearly threatening the Canadian with a lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Powell was outside of the rapper’s Miami condo building Friday when he confronted her and tried to grab her phone. She also claims that when she tried to walk away, she got blindsided by Kaylin Garcia. Kaylin’s been previously linked to Tory and she’s also a supporting cast member on ‘Love & Hip Hop’ who used to date Joe Budden.
According to the report, Garcia approached Powell, wrapped an arm around her shoulder and neck, and pulled her down to the ground. Powell told cops Garcia tried to kick her too, but she somehow was able to roll over and get up. At that point, Garcia allegedly hopped in Lanez’ white Bentley, and they took off together along with the rapper’s bodyguard. According to the report, there’s also surveillance footage of Lanez getting into his ride, but no footage of the actual altercation that went down.
Powell tells us she blacked out during the assault and when she awoke, she was badly bruised with back and neck pain. She refused medical care at the scene, but she was later treated at the hospital for injuries.
Probably the funniest part of the story, if there is one, is that Powell claims Tory got heated after she made fun of his hairline. The two have a very nasty history together, with Celina allegedly bragging about taking the artist’s money at some point. She also posted his personal number online at some point in the feud. Interesting to see how this feud ends since the two of them live in the same building in Miami.
