Dr. Dre And Nicole Young Are Done

Recently, the Dr. Dre and Nicole Young Divorce case came to an end. Dr. Dre has been ordered to pay his ex-wife $300,000 a month in spousal support. Yes, you read that correctly $300,000 per month which equates to $3,600,000 per year. It is estimated that the Hip Hop mogul is worth $800,000,000. It would seem like that is simply a drop in the bucket for Dr. Dre, however, it must also be stated that this does not include lawyer fees and court costs and any other payments the judge will order Dr. Dre to pay. Originally, Nicole Young was seeking $2,000,000 per month, which is unfathomable. I think it’s safe to say that Dr. Dre got lucky because he could have been paying a lot more to his ex-wife. Unfortunately for Dr. Dre, he will have to pay $300,000 a month to his ex-wife for as long as she lives, or until she remarries. She is free to date anyone and cohabitate with anyone that she desires and she will continue to be paid by Dr. Dre. In this manner, she is allowed to double dip. Meaning that the she will receive payment from Dr. Dre and money, gifts, and expenses paid from her new boyfriend, so as long as the doesn’t get re-married. She can do this for as long as she lives.

Is Marriage Worth It?

Let me save you the time and energy that you will spend thinking about the answer. NO! Modern marriage is not worth it and never will be. You don’t have to be as wealthy as Dr. Dre, you can be an average man making a modest salary of $50,000 USD per year and you can still end up paying your ex-wife spousal support. Imagine having to pay someone a salary for the rest of their life simply because you married them many years ago. Does that seem fair? Many opponents will argue that the wife should be compensated because she spent time taking care of the house and the family and did not have the opportunity to pursue a career herself. There is validity to this statement. When a couple gets married and it is decided that the wife will stay home and be a homemaker she does give up her opportunity to work and earn a living for herself. However, how much does a person need to live on before she can marry another man or get in a position where she can work and earn a living for herself? Oftentimes, alimony is paid in such a great amount that it allows the ex-wife to live the same lifestyle that she was accustomed to living when she was married to her husband. How else can you explain Nicole Young receiving $3,600,000 from Dr. Dre each year? Only someone who was living a rich and luxurious lifestyle would be rewarded that great an amount of money. Reasonably speaking, no one needs $300,000 per month to live a comfortable life, however, as a man you are responsible for maintaining your ex-wife’s lifestyle until she dies or remarries. How much should be given then? As much as she needs to pay her bills until she can get on her feet and earn a living for herself. I do believe that something should be paid, but in the case of Dr. Dre certainly shouldn’t be $300,000 each month.

You Will Pay Her Bills

How many bills can a woman have who is staying home and taking care of the house and family? Especially if a woman is awarded the house, cars, and other items. In Dr. In Dre’s case I don’t see why Nicole Young was awarded more than $20,000 a month, which is a lot of money to live on even in Los Angeles. Now, imagine the man earning $50,000 per year being ordered to pay $2,000 per month in spousal support and this is not including child support. This kind of money would break a man. And many times that’s what the ex-wife wants to happen to the ex-husband. They want them to be broken and destitute while they are able to profit and live lavishly with no consequences, even though they filed for divorce. The lunacy of it all is mind blowing. Let this be a lesson to all men. If you decide to go to the courthouse and sign your name on marriage papers then this is what can happen to you. She can divorce and take a majority of your money while you are left with nothing. Don’t fall for the trick of them making you believe that they are not like that and that they would never do you like that. Words mean very little in the eyes of the judge. The truth is that marriage is a bad idea. Even with a prenuptial agreement it can still be thrown out in court. An attorney can argue that your ex-wife signed it under duress and a judge can throw it out. I ask every single man why risk it? You can enjoy your life and have a family without being married. Your family may try to pressure you into marriage. Your religion may say that you must be married, however, answer this question. Will your family or religion give you financial support when you are ordered to pay 30%-40% of your salary each month? I think not. Therefore, avoid getting married. Remember, you can do bad all by yourself.
