Back in September, Errolson Hugh and Acronym brought their talents to the Swoosh family with the final result being one of the most anticipated sneakers of the year. The collaboration was highly praised by sneaker fans and overall, the kicks can easily be considered one of the most complete products of 2016.

4. AIR JORDAN 4 RETRO “WHITE/CEMENT”

The “White/Cement” Jordan 4s are, without a doubt, one of the best retro releases of 2016. Dubbed in the perfect color mix, the shoe will forever reminded us of Spike Lee’s “Do the right thing” with fans copping this year’s stock in a matter of hours.

The same thing will happen next year if Jordan Brand decides to bless us with a re-up.

3. ADIDAS HU NMD X PHARRELL WILLIAMS

Adidas and Pharrell took us by surprise by updating their Human Race line with a ton of colorways this past summer. It’s almost impossible not to find one that matches your style and similar to the Yeezy line. The Hu NMDs are one of the most comfortable sneakers in the market.

2. ADIDAS YEEZY BOOST 350 V2

That one sneaker that brought us the most Ls in 2016. Kanye West’s Yeezy Boost 350 V2 came with one of the sharpest designs of the year. So it’s only natural to include them on our top 10 despite most sneaker fans not being able to cop a pair.

1. AIR JORDAN 12 RETRO X OVO “WHITE”

Drake’s gift for joining the Jordan Brand family was initially designed as an exclusive collaboration. But soon after, the OVO camp agreed to make their product available for the fans.

At the end of the day, this was a major cop for 2016 and we’re not talking about the resell value of the shoe. Hopefully we’ll get to see a re-release next year but if not, we’ll have to settle for the Air Jordan 10 OVO.
