One of the first moments that made history is when Michael Jordan and UNC participated in the 1982 NCAA Championship and defeated Georgetown with a game winning shot from the master itself.
2 . 1986 63 Points for Michael in a single game
In the playoff match of 1986 against Boston Celtics and Larry Bird, Jordan made history and even set up a record that has not been broken until this day. 63 points for Jordan even if they eventually lost to the Celtics in the second overtime.
3 . Winning the All-Star Slam Dunk Contest
After he lost in 1985 to Dominique Wilkins and missing their yearly duel in 1986 due to an injury, while Wilkins missed the contest in 1987 due to injuries, it all came down to the 1988 All-Star Slam Dunk Contest. In Game 5 of the 1989 Easter Conference, on a match against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jordan hit a game-winning jumper over Craig Ehlo that is still remembered until this day.”The Shot” as it was dubbed brought an 101-100 victory to the Bulls over the Cavs and it is considered to be one of Jordan’s greatest clutch moments, and in the game itself, a classic.
5 . The NBA Finals win in 1991
With his struggle to obtain playoff success earlier in his career, Jordan finally managed to celebrate a Final win in 1991. The Bulls beat The Lakers in what was about to be the last NBA Finals for the Lakers until 2000. It was also the first NBA Finals where Michael appeared and the last one for the legend Magic Johnson.
6. The Olympics of 1992
Being the first American Olympic team to actually include NBA players, it was dubbed as “The Dream Team” and is considered by many to be the greatest basketball team ever assembled.
